Hi everyone, I’ve been to several hostels in Israel. Some were better than others. Here is my list of recommended hostels in Israel. I’m still working on it, so if you hear about a cool place to stay, let me know so I can check it out 🙂

Abraham Hostel Jerusalem:
I’ve stayed here in 2016 and loved it! It’s a huge hostel, with huge dorms and rooms, it’s clean and has friendly and helpful staff. It’s also located in a great location, on Jaffa Street, a few minutes’ walk away from Machane Yehuda Market. I visited here a couple of times after 2016 and it looks like the place is keeping up the good work, so… totally recommend!

Cinema Hostel Jerusalem:
I’ve stayed here in 2019 and had a wonderful experience. The hostel is ideally located in the center of Jerusalem, not far from the Machane Yehuda Market and the Old City of Jerusalem. Its interior design is beautiful and very modern and my room had enough space and a very comfy bed.

Little Tel-Aviv Hostel:
I’ve stayed here in 2018 and really enjoyed my stay! This hostel has beautiful and fun common areas, including a pretty garden, and has great breakfast (at a decent price). I also really liked the fact that it’s just a 2 minutes’ walk from Rothschild Boulevard, where all the cool bars, restaurants and historical sites are.

I’ve stayed here in 2019 and had an enjoyable time. The hostel is located in an old Templar house, which really gives a cool vibe. There are plenty of common areas, where you can meet other travellers, including a pleasant yard at the entrance to the hostel. The staff are friendly and there’s a ton of activities.

Eco Akko Hostel in Acre:
I’ve stayed here in 2018 and was really impressed by the cool concept, that doesn’t exist in any other Israeli hostel I’ve visited – the “bee-hive” sleeping concept. When I stayed here it was a cute and cozy hostel with very friendly staff members. So if you’re looking for a place in Acre – this place is highly recommended!
